• Kelowna Fiddlers’ concert 1:15-2 PM
• Champion Fiddlers, Calvin Vollrath, Daniel Lapp and Mark Sullivan
o 2:15-3:30 PM
• Jam with the Champions from 4-5 PM
• Lasagna dinner 6 PM
• Dance at 7 PM with music by Champion Fiddlers
Saturday June 6 th
• Workshops 9 AM-NOON – Calvin, Daniel and Mark
• Afternoon Champions’ Concert, 2 PM – 4:30 PM
• FINALE – everyone joins in 5 – 6 PM
GUEST ARTISTS – Calvin Vollrath, Daniel Lapp and Mark Sullivan
CALVIN Vollrath – is a musical prodigy and has composed 700 tunes including 5
fiddle tunes for the Winter Olympics in 2010. Calvin is a world-class fiddler and has recorded
with Ian Tyson, Colleen Peterson & Laura Vinson and is in high demand as a workshop
instructor across North America.
DANIEL Lapp – In 2010 Daniel was a featured fiddler in the Opening Ceremonies of
the Vancouver Olympics and has recorded numerous albums of folk, jazz and electronic
music as well as playing on over 100 others. He directs the Victoria Fiddle Orchestra.
MARK Sullivan – is Three-time Canadian Grand Masters Champion and is widely
regarded as one of the finest fiddlers in North America today. He is a regular instructor at
Music Camps
